In the Netflix sci-fi action film “Atlas” directed by Brad Peyton, Jennifer Lopez stars as a data analyst named Atlas who must use artificial intelligence to take down an evil robot threatening Earth, portrayed by Simu Liu. Reflecting on the movie during its premiere in Los Angeles, Lopez shared her thoughts on how the film effectively explores the potential risks and advantages of AI. She also revealed her own encounter with AI being manipulated, mentioning instances where her image was altered for the purpose of promoting products she wasn’t aware of.
Lopez stressed the importance of treating AI with respect while also being open to its possibilities. She commended films like “Atlas” for presenting a well-rounded view on the topic. Sterling K.
